Smalltown Times

Working at a small town newspaper is often more interesting than reading it.

Ok, so it has been two and a half years since I posted on this blog. I have no illusions that anyone is reading. For my own gratification, however I will throw something up here.

I got married in October of 2005, got promoted to editor of a sister newspaper in a slightly smaller neighboring town. By the summer of 2006 I knew that I had to leave that position or put a bullet through my skull.

Now, I have gone back to teaching. I pontificate on music and drama at a small private school in my same small town. I teach all grades from pre-K all the way through high school. it makes every day interesting.

In March of 2007, my first child was born. I am one of those dads who can scarcely shut up about his kid, so I will take this opportunity to do so.

Perhaps I will actually start writing this blog on a regular basis. Don't hold your breath, though.
